“ESL Survey 1” proved to be the ideal vessel for shallow water Bathymetric and Geophysical surveys during the 3RS project. Based in Tuen Mum Typhoon Shelter it’s quick response time and ability to manoeuvre between dredging and DCM barges allowed surveys to be completed quickly. Combined with it’s specialist Hydropod and permanent navigation sensors mobilisation was completed and surveys commenced efficiently. Geophysical sensors were also deployed in very shallow water thanks to the boats shallow draft and catamaran configuration.
“ESL Survey 2” is now mobilised at Tuen Mun and provides a multi sensor platform for a range of surveys.
